Solarcentury fastest growing renewable energy company

Solarcentury is UK’s fastest growing private renewable energy company measured by international sales.

Solarcentury has been ranked number 22 in The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 which ranks the UK’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales. The list includes companies from a range of sectors including well-known names in Aerospace, Digital Marketing and Retail. Solarcentury is the only renewable energy company in the list.

Neil Perry, CFO at Solarcentury, said “inclusion near the very top of this list reflects the continued financial health of our company as we expand outside the UK and export our home-grown expertise around the world, including our partnership with IKEA. And we expect this to continue; we now have eight offices outside the UK, and an international pipeline of more than 3 GW across Europe, Africa and Latin America.”

For inclusion in The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200, companies are required to be UK registered and unquoted, with international sales of at least £1m and total sales of at least £25m in the latest year of published accounts. The top 25 companies, including Solarcentury, achieved international sales growth rates of greater than 100% year-on-year.
